Glass factory tradition and contemporary design
1952 - Foundation
MeC S.r.l was founded in 1952 by Mariani & Colnaghi and started as a small artisan company located in Lissone. Thanks to the hard work and commitment MeC S.r.l is now a leader in second glass manufacturing for furniture.
1990s - Showcases division
In the 1990s MeC S.r.l founded its Showcases Division and also thanks to its in-house carpentry gave rise to “Riflessi” an exhibiting line of showcases and counter displays.
2008 - New operational headquarters
In 2008 MeC S.r.l. establishes the production in a new 12.000 mq shed in Lissone, where a brand-new photovoltaic system (325 kw) has been recently installed in order to enhance green policies with an energy – savings purpose.
High technological development (Industria 5.0)
For over 70 years, the company has distinguished itself by its ability to combine glassmaking tradition with the most modern processing techniques, creating unique, customized and high-quality products.
MeC S.r.l. has also been certified as Industria 5.0 thanks to the consolidation of advanced automation in its production plants, the even more fundamental interaction between humans and machines and more focus on sustainability.
